10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has self esteem issues which have been especially pronounced since starting here. Having a slight learning disability has gone practically unsupported unless we pay for outside tutoring. You either achieve, or you get left behind. Classroom environments can be toxic unless you're one of the popular kids.Parent Review2y ago - Heritage Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have no words for this school. Oh yeah I do! Personally, the experience with this school was just disappointing. Mostly, I have stuff to say about the orchestra program. The orchestra teacher felt emotionally abusive to me. She constantly looked annoyed and disappointed with my group. She also yelled frequently and even grabbed some students as well. So shocked this hasn't been brought up by ANYONE whatsoever. Also, the lack of diversity is just shocking. I came from a school (my old school) where I was a big chunk of the population, but here, I am a minority group. There are mostly white and Asian kids here, which isn't bad, but the diversity sucks. They act like it's fine, but it's not. The science curriculum here is also boring and I never learn ANYTHING. My classmates constantly fail their quizzes and tests, and though I am an all A student, I regularly get grades like 70 and 80 in science. My classmates can also be seen getting grades like 9/20, 13/20, 6/15, and more. (Yes, those are ALL real grades that I saw from my classmate's papers.) Calculate those and they're all under 70. The students are just plain rude and it sucks being near these little pea-brained brats daily. They also have a thing for cursing. Some of them. They casually drop F-bombs left and right. This school kinda ruined my mental health and gave me so many problems to deal with. So yeah. Parents beware, it looks nice on the outside with all of its 'Jr lancer newsletters' and stuff like that, which I could care about less, but its a super flawed school. Kids shame each other for being in math B or C; yes, there is different math levels. I just wanted to feel normal here, but I felt anything but. The gifted program is all about being smart. Wow, I felt sick being in this hellhole every single day. Just maybe care about our mental health better than other things, staff. New kids going here, beware too. They never fit in. When I was new, people ignored me and pushed me away from them. I felt sad and even depressed. I thought no one wanted to be my friend because of my race. But anyways, I only go here because my parents saved up for years to move here. I had high hopes, but oh well. This pea brained school ruined me.Student Review1mo ago - Collins Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHillside is the most amazing school! We love it here. We moved to Livingston 5 years ago and even though we live in a different part of town, we got lucky to get this school. Both my kids are really thriving in the school environment both academically and socially and I feel very secure knowing that they are in good hands. I would say that the principal, Mr Gramata and the wonderful teachers are truly amazing! The school embraces diversity and inclusiveness and we have an amazing PTA that does so much for the kids and the families. Character Education is a significant part of the curriculum that shapes the kids attitudes and perspectives. We are fortunate that our school teaches kids good values right from the start.Parent Review10mo ago - Mount Pleasant Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school deserves much better review. Besides the new added multimedia center and the renewed play ground, the teachers and staff are always ready to help. My son is eager to go school every morning and back home happily in the afternoon. The test scores are also indicating students are learning and improving.Parent Review10mo ago - Burnet Hill School
