Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from November 22, 2023
A rare opportunity to own a pristinely original 1977 Pacific NW Regional Dwelling by renowned Architect Alex Pierce. Pierce collaborated with the longtime owners to create their dream home after waiting for their ideal setting became available. This property offers 3.21 Acres bordering Forest Park on TWO sides. Pierce was on the neighborhood association of Forest Park and fully grasped what a unique and special opportunity this offered. Spritually uplifting, the home honors as well as benefits from the natural setting. One of only four residences on this special lane, where the street ends in Forest Park. As one ascends the driveway the home begins to come into view, rising from the earth yet staying low as part of the landscape. The L shaped great room has 5 sets of sliding doors leading to the tile patio and wrap around deck. A corner set fireplace is open to both the living and dining areas. The primary bedroom is attached to the full bath and located on the main floor. The daylight lower level has a family room and a bedroom and full bathroom. This level was designed for potential to have an auxilary living space, plumbing was roughed into one of the walls of the family room. The property taxes and utility bills are low as the home is located in Unincorporated Multnomah County and the property is served by a private well and septic system. Hot water heater was replaced in 2022 and the furnace was replaced in 2019. The original owners have loved every minute of living here since it was built in 1977. First time on the market EVER! The property surrounding the home is adorned with 1000's of King Alfred daffodils, which pop up above the sword ferns in the Spring. Only 12 minutes to NW Portland and Beaverton yet feels a thousand miles away. A true Forest Bathing sanctuary.

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average5 stars for amazing teachers that actually teach quality education. They are demanding in quality work so prepare your kids to study hard. It has paid off well, my son is in high school and he says middle school prepared him very well to be ahead of his classmates. Kudos to the tough teachers making a difference in their lives. Amy Tilt was a phenomenal math teacher. And the English teacher that made kids cry because she was demanding my hats off to you! My kid is doing amazing in English classes at the advanced high school level now because if you!If you want an easy A from here, then don’t send your kids here. They will have to earn it.Parent Review2y ago - Lincoln High School
