Having said that, there are some limitations. No football program and the concert band is small. (No marching.) Also, these kids might have a bit of a shock when they get to college and the teachers aren't hounding them about missing homework or late papers! My son put it this way, "Valley Park is so small we're like family. And you can't be mad at family too long, because you see them every day. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from Valley Park High School in the eighties and decided to move from North County (Ferguson/Florissant school district) to Valley Park because this was the only school district I trusted with my son’s education. I have no regrets! All schools on one campus with small classroom teacher/student ratio, everyone knew everyone on campus. My son started at Valley Park in the 6 grade with teachers who cared about his education and students who were academically focused. "They would like that there are lots of neighbors with dogs. There are retailers nearby for dog owners as well. Petsmart, No leash needed, treats unleashed, & tons of pet boarding options. Lots of close 24/7 emergency vets at 141 and Manchester "

"Plenty of owners can be seen walking their dogs all day long. There are multiple poop stations with bins and bags always stocked and clean. However, not all owners actually pick up after their pup. "

"nothing really, the schools are pretty good but not much else is different than anywhere else. The homes hold their value well but are more expensive than similar areas in town. most housing stock is from 1970s thru 1990s. "

"Charleston Place Court is a wonderful small neighborhood unto itself. Multiple restaurants, bars and a bowling alley are within a short walking distance. The neighbors and friendly and look out for each other. "

"Manchester, MO is a fairly small community that provides anything you desire - highway access ( centered between I-64 / I-44. Restaurants, 2 malls with 10 minutes, nationally recognized school system, city ran police force& fire department. Parks, pools, tennis, outdoor amphi-theatre and friendly folks to call "neighbor"!"
