5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has potential. Overall it lacks interest from its students and terminal disappointment from overworked and underpaid staff. Since the pandemic, teaching in a public setting isn’t the same. Almost a complete loss of interest coming from staff. Unfortunately it all makes sense why. I think the only option is to homeschool your students and find viable healthy social engagements for them.Parent Review11mo ago - Bernardo Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI loved the family engagement but there were other things that I did not like about this school. 2 out of the 3 teachers that our child had were just ok, while one was absolutely fantastic. On top of it, there was a lady who yelled at me on two occasions while I walked in the parking lot to my car (she thought my car was on the street, but it was not, it was in the parking lot). I feel that she felt she had authority over me, a parent, and even though I wasn't doing anything wrong, she treated me like a child. The fall festival is always fantastic. I love the award ceremonies.Parent Review5mo ago - San Pasqual High School

You can go to Julian and Palomar mountain, downtown, the beach, or forward riverside very easily. There is always rush hour traffic, but also various side streets to get me around to where I need to go. "
