7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you are cool with a fellow student bringing a BB to your child's school then this school will be a great fit for you and your child. If you like the idea of a teacher quitting with 3 day's notice because the kids in the classroom behave so badly then this school will be a perfect fit for you and your kid. If you think it is acceptable for the subsequent substitute teacher and subsequent permanent teacher to openly weep and cry in front of the elementary class because the kids are behaved so badly then you and your child will fit right in. If you think hitting and punching are just part of the public school system then you will really enjoy being here. If you think that unproductive peace circles are much more important than math, reading or science then you will love it here. If you think repeated unproductive peace circles are the answer to almost every discipline problem then you should absolutely know and understand that you will belong here. If you think your child should never go on a field trip then you have found the perfect public school.Parent Review8mo ago - Evanston Twp High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've been so happy with ETHS. Coming from a small middle school we were wondering how the transition to be a big school would go. It was very smooth. The school does so many events for 8th graders to get them comfortable and is very communicative with parents. There are so many clubs and activities to choose from that all kids really have an opportunity to find a good fit. PE includes a swim unit and they get to swim in the school's very nice pool. At parent-teacher conferences I was so happy with all the staff, they've been so great.Parent Review5mo ago - Check out schools near 3320 Capitol St.

Only the forest preserves we can bring our dogs. Summer mosquitoes and ticks, Fall and Spring are muddy, Winter can be too cold , or not accessible."
