7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of a kid who's going here who is neurodivergent and is on a 504, this school is wonderful. The educators here seem to care deeply and are probably over-generous with their time...which I love and wish they had more support. Nonetheless, everyone I interact with at this school are lovely, kind, and invested individuals who all appear to care for kids greatly!Parent Review7mo ago - John F Kennedy Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot even begin to describe how much I hate this school. The principal is incompetent and they neglect to teach kids anything good. I got in trouble for self-defense and was physically assaulted multiple times. The bullying I faced was relentless and few teachers bothered to help. It is NOT a safe space for minorities or LGBTQ+ students. I have experienced firsthand discrimination for my identity. The head principal once called me "Good girl" which is not only creepy, but he also misgendered me. The students do not even seem to have personalities, they all just act the same, cruel and heartless. You could get away with a hallway fight but get singled out for something many other kids did. The food is so bad I have a hard time believing it is edible, the chicken has pink insides and is burnt to a crisp on the outside. The food is disgusting at worst, and fair at best. The buses are in poor condition and are either freezing cold or burning hot. I cannot fathom what would make any sane person wish to attend this school. 0/10, but better than the elementary schools.Student Review1mo ago - Waltham Sr High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWaltham is a school that is unfairly compared to nearby high schools in affluent communities, when the population in the city is vastly different, with 10+ times as many ELL students. The teachers in Waltham are (for the most part) honestly superior to most teachers I have come across in some of the "better on paper" districts. There are high achieving students getting into Ivys, and students who are new to this country for whom graduating is a huge victory. Great school, great students, great teachers.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 329 Lincoln St #1.
