6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a graduate from this school, I always held hope. However, that hope was always diminished once the school practiced something wildly bizarre. I go by a preferred name, and for all four years of going to this school— not once did they respect that until I made an uproar after being publicly deadnamed in front of an audience numerous times. As a senior I made the choice to go to Northern Arizona University and the school never sent my official high school transcript to my university. I had to obtain an official copy myself and give it to my university since I had already moved away for college. This school is incredibly careless and despicable. I could count on one hand the teachers who actually made a difference in their students days, and those teachers realized their worth and left the school. The school segregates “Cambridge/AS” students and “general education” students, allows and encourages students who are in advanced classes to look down on the general education students as if they’re scum. There is typically no bullying or anything of the sort, however this school still has yet to catch up and has no regard whatsoever towards individuals in the LGBTQ+ community.Other Review1y ago

"I lived out of city limits for 6 years. Kingman was once a little town with Stockton Hill Road once being two lanes and all dirt. In coming back now after a 3 year absence, I can't say I am much impressed. The drug problem is still widespread, Birdland looks worse than ever, and houses are being built as fast and as close together as possible. But where are good paying jobs? Where are cultural experiences? Where is diversity? Where is industry and city planning? Kingman has potential, but the sudden influx of those fleeing California shows the town is growing out, not up. Kingman needs long range goals to retain its new residents and attract others. I hope the next time I visit for a sustained period of time that I feel better about this town. "

"People walk their dogs. This community is very dog friendly. if a dog is lost or found there is a very devoted group of people ready to help (social media is great for helping people with their pets). Lots of great vetinarians to choose from. "

"It would be nice if more people would walk their dogs on leashes around the neighborhood, but everyone has fences around their property and they all keep to themselves. I wish the neighbors were more friendly around here, like they are in Las Vegas!"

"In the Butler area, it is noisy to walk your dog because all of the homes here have dogs pretty much, and so they are constantly barking. Kingman has several Dog Parks though. "

"Sun Haven Estates House have wonderful lot sizes with pave streets so you really don't have to go out of town to have an acre horse property. The neighbors are good and the place is looking better and better as we get out of the recession. Very good access with Route 66 to most of the Town that's quick with 2 convenience gas marts station"
