4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 3 kids at this school and was a little hesitant because of the rating, however it has been a really great school. We are a military family and have had our children in schools all over the country that ranked much higher than this school, but you cannot beat that small class size and community feel. All the staff know all the children and really care about meeting their educational needs. I have one that needed an IEP and it was initiated and put in place very fast. I am very pleased with the quality of education my children are getting here. "Crest is great neighborhood. It feels like a small town but in the city. When you drive up the hill you’re met with a beautiful view of the valley. There’s a school, small convenience store, a mom and pops Mexican restaurant, a gas station, and a little park for kids all on one road."

"The Crest Community is a well kept secret in San Diego County. Better views...better temperatures ... 5 minutes to the bottom of the hill to get on the freeway at 8 & Greenfield. 25 minutes from San Diego airport downtown. 20 minutes from Alpine (closer if take the back road). Excellent neighbors. Community events are held on a regular basis. Hiking, biking and horse trails surround us. "
