Our son was treated as if he was the problem and was suspended on several occasions as a 4th grader. His emotional well-being was jeopardized severely by the educators and staff who did nothing to support him. He was constantly made to feel like he was the issue. In our new school he’s done nothing but thrive this year. Truly consider the idea that Johns Creek produces some of the best schools before you register your child here. I will be separating this review into good and bad.Good-Sports teams for both genders-3 world languages to choose from (Latin, Spanish, French)-3 music classes (Orchestra, band, chorus)Bad-teachers a frequently spreading misinformation-a lot of teachers dont care about their job-unenforced bullying policy-counselors and assistant principals tend to be sexist in favor of girls-a lot of teachers are sexist in favor of girls-counselors and assistant principals are blatantly rude to parents-a lot of bullying occurs and the teachers are too busy on their phones to do anything-a lot of staff treat students younger than they are which can lead to dislikeEven if there are a lot of negatives, Autrey Mill is still something I wish everyone could have experienced.Student Review1y ago - Johns Creek High School

My daughter is a junior at this school, and has had a wonderful experience with her teachers, counselor and administrators. She receives excellent instruction and support from her teachers. Her counselor is fantastic, responsive and knowledgeable about what she needs to do to prepare for college. Her administrators have always been there to provide support and guidance as well. Bullying is not tolerated, the school is safe, and is the reason we moved to Johns Creek. We are not wealthy compared to many of the families in the community, but that has not stopped my daughter from making friends and fitting in (even though she doesn't wear namebrand clothes). I believe the people writing negative reviews of this school have issues of their own that they would carry with them to any school, no matter how great! Johns Creek is awesome! Is it perfect? "I have lived in this area for more than five years, my parents have been living here for more than 15 years. It is one of the best areas to live in - although, over priced in comparison to how you feel about this town - not all communities are equal - some are mediocre, some middle of the road, some are affluent and beautiful- there are some which are ridiculously priced for what they offer 👎🏼"
