First it took forever to get approved to be able to watch my son in class because it was always an excuse on why I should come another day......I visit today and was not pleased at all smh in the lunchroom a little boy dropped his apple on the floor and wanted to throw it away but couldn't teacher told him I will wash it off and you can eat it still(the janitor wanted him to throw it away but the teacher said no) Just disgusting..... Today was too cold to go outside so it was a movie day I guess and all three kindergarten classes was in one room .....While watching the movie a child went to go sit on the teachers lap and she let him sit with her for a while then told him to get his own chair then told another teacher that the little boy smell horrible smh and I was sitting across the room and I heard it so I know other kids heard it (wonder why kids get bullied) so after the movie bathroom break and the kids went back into there own classroom I was about to walk in the room and Mrs. Showman stopped me at the door and said sorry you are going to have to leave now because I am about to open this combining door and although I agreed to let you come and watch your son the other teachers didnt and its in our teachers contract....So l go to the office ask the lady about teachers contract and she said she didnt know anything about it....I asked for a hand booklet and she told me about the 24hr vistor pass policy and I said I did put in notice and she just look like okay what else you want me to do......I could go on forever about this school just off of one 2 hour visit DO BETTER DUNLOE

I'm going to tackle this as nicely as I can, but there isn't a lot of nice things to say. I am a current student at GMHS, class of 2026.. and I absolutely hate this school! I'm never excited to learn, because papers, google classroom assignments, random projects, and so much more are all shoved down my throat with no second thought! I am falling behind with my academics and I'm scared I won't graduate, but that doesn't matter to the staff team. Good luck trying to talk to the counselors, because you can't unless you book an appointment. And every single time I have went to book one, it's always over a week ahead. I tried booking one earlier this week (12/4/23) regarding my academics, and there's no openings until this upcoming Tuesday (12/12/23). And midterms are on the 12th and 13th, then after that it's the end of the grading period! Because of this school, I feel like my life is over. I feel as if I can't achieve what I want to in life. The staff are not encouraging me to push towards my dream of art, they just want me to sit down, shut up, and do their realistic 3d model cell project that's due in two days. (Yes, this actually happened.) Regarding the students, I have met some really nice people; But the majority is absolutely awful. There are fights almost every day, and if not every day, it's at LEAST once a week. They put Evolv weapons detectors in this year, and they're awful as well. They slow down the process of actually getting inside, and all the other students are pressed up against each other trying to get inside and away from the cold. Literally NO ONE likes them, NOT EVEN MOST OF THE STAFF! I hope they remove those buggy machines!

This school isn’t good at all choose any other school that’s not in groveport Madison they don’t help with work they go to fast while talking they are very disrespectful and they lied to my mom about my education and the help I need and sometimes the food is raw there is so many bad things about this school choose any other school and your kid will learn and get a better education
