4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter fell completely behind here. She was originally a GT student, and somehow fell through the cracks. We tried and tried to have communication with the teachers and staff when we believed, with suggestion from our pediatrician, that she may be ADD. They were no help. AT ALL. We were treated as if we were trying to "get one over on them" meaning we wanted to somehow sway her testing on the TAKS test. I too had major back surgery the first year my daughter was at Justiss,(her third grade year) and the teachers were fabulous. But, her fourth grade year the teachers had no interest in teaching her basic things like handwriting, vocabulary and dictionary use. We switched school districts because of our fourth grade experience with Justiss. I am very sad on many levels, my daughters poor education experience, and the fact that I was a student at Justiss in the 80's. "Pumpkin festival, mannequin night, they do community trick or treating, as well as an event feeding people for thanksgiving and a tree lighting for Christmas"

"Very rentals in the area allow pets. There are some areas with sidewalks but most streets do not but you could go to parks and there is a bike path in town."

"It’s a quite neighborhood most interactions I have had with my neighbors have been good. They are mainly elderly and very sweet. They know who’s dog is who’s and if they get lose they let you know ! "

"Don't let your kids ride bikes down the streets. Too many aggressive dogs that are not kept on chains or in fences. Also, most neighbors you will get around certain parts of town are very sketchy and loud."

"Here are many families in the area with kids that are attending few independent school districts. Drivers are reckless around here so keep an eye out on the road. "

"It has some beautiful old homes then I would think would be a great prospect to restore so that we can change the quality a life around here they have sidewalks but they need more sidewalks and more streetlights the only way we’re going to make the community better is to change the community"

"Moved here last year. Excellent location for kids - quiet streets to play in, extremely convenient access to all the stores and shopping, mostly families and retired couples. We've left and forgot to lock doors and never felt in the least bit worried! Friendly neighbors. Always someone out walking with their pet or family and happy to stop and talk. "
