Large homes on large lots. Knowland Park and hiking trails nearby are great if you like outdoor activities. School district seems to be in a bit of trouble, but I have no personal experience with it so can't comment accurately. easy access to freeways. Low crime rates which some might find unexpected in Oakland. "
