N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCommunication is extremely high, teachers really care about the students. Hands down the best elementary school I’ve seen. My son is on an IEP and the meeting was well prepared for, everyone wanted to see him succeed, and they went above to ensure we could keep him on track even though we were transferring soon.Parent Review1y ago - Thomas L Reeves Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI recently had to move out of the Long Beach School district and relocated into another area that had "excellent" schools. I have been deeply dissappointed in our new system and am beyond thankful that I had the priveledge of sending my child to Reeves. The teachers were excellent, involved, engaged in the children individually, and attuned to their needs. The students came first. They also had a wonderful discovery program that my child participated in with equally as dedicated and knowledgable teachers. I miss Reeves and know that any child WILL get a first class education at that school.Parent Review13y ago - Long Beach Middle School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey don't adhere to their own policies. Bullying is off the charts while administration looks the other way, teachers leave in droves, front office staff is beyond rude, and parent participation is not received well. None of this is conducive with a learning environment. Terrible experience, if your military choose somewhere else.Parent Review7y ago - Long Beach Senior High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis Is A Rewrite Of The Review I Just Posted. This Is A More Detailed Review. I Was A Student At This School In My Freshman Year. My Biggest Problem With This School Was The Bullying And How The Staff Handled It. They Didn't. Us As Students Had To Handle It Ourselves. The Teachers While Not Making These Statements Themselves Allowed Homophobic Slurs In Class As Well As Other Forms Of Discrimination And Bullying. I Had To Deal With Some Of It Myself By Threatening Bullies With Physical Force. That Was The Only Way To Get Them To Stop For About A Few Weeks. And Now That I'm Gone I'm Hearing From My Friends It's Gotten Worse. Now There's Rumors Galore And Death Threats And Etc. One Of The Students Showed My Best Friend A Gore Video In The Middle Of Class And Got Not Even A Slap On The Wrist. My Friends Have Gotten Depressed. They Dread Going To This School And I Did Too. Someone Needs To Step Up SOON. Teens Kill Themselves Because Of Places Like This.Other Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 308 Twin Lakes Blvd.
