5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCharlotte Middle School has been a great place for my child to learn. The principal and staff have been great with communication during a couple of difficult years. The staff at the Middle School have made this a fun place for children to learn. I'm glad the district has given parents a voice in their children's education and I'm excited for the future.Parent Review2y ago - Washington Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCharlotte schools are one of the worst in Michigan the schools only help the family they like and know. They don't listen to the parents concerns at all and if equipment is broke they don't fix it at all. It took over 10 years just to get the parking lot done because the teachers that aren't very good keep wanting pay increase. The schools are garbageParent Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 308 E Shaw St #2.

"Everyone has a dog, or two dogs maybe more. The houses are so close together the dogs have their own social network"

"Charlotte is a small to medium town. Easy access to freeway and close to Lansing. Clean parks ant the county fairgrounds."

"They would like it because there is not much traffic! Dislike the fact yards are to small and other people’s pets barking all the time but close to back country roads perfect for walking your pet "

"Getting around in Charlotte is difficult. The only public transportation is E-Tran and the hours of operation are not the most conducive to all jobs. Uber is not available. As someone that does not drive, it’s hard to get anywhere. "

"We live just outside of the city limits on a main highway. No sidewalks , and not a good idea to walk along the side of the road due to the high volume of traffic."

"I’ve lived here for over 20 years and I absolutely love it. I have raised my family here and plan to retire here."

"Nordic fire festival which is amazingly fun and gives you something to do in the winter. There is a great skate park for kids, and downtown is walkable and enjoyable with kitschy little shops and a few bars. Downtown trick or treating takes in lots of candy for the kids and all summer long numerous festivals and car shows take place!"
