Staying at this school guarantees a child will not succeed academically or with life skills. I have never seen anything quite like this.Extreme intervention is needed immediately by a professional team through the state government (at the very least)....Parent Review3y ago - North Rockland High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis site is so far from false as to the ratings of this amazing school!! The school is an award winning and blue winning school!! They strive in all areas of education and provide so much services and kids excel! My 8th grader loved this year and last year! Even in a pandemic...every child had a touch screen labtop and resources along with free school supplies. I recommend contacting the school first before even listening to any of the incorrect data given here!Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 30 3rd St.

"I drive now and the roads are super bumpy, they have potholes. When I used to ride the bus, the commute was okay but the scheduling can use some work. "

"Taxes are too high! no bang for the bucks, spent on taxes... Wheres all the money going? Crime spiked In the last 3 mo. Small group of investors driving the home market. Same group of investors turning beautiful homes into apartment complexes, changing the small home town feeling into a overpopulated run down jobless town. This ofcourse this has fuled the rodents, ferral cats, lice and bed bugs issue as well. Again,no to forget to mention the rise in crime. The village offers no incentives for small business, creating a town of only barbershops and beauty salons... ((Boring)) Basically poorly managed village, and town. Harbors, are gated and is a town within the town, surrounding community does not benefit from this development. The Haverstraw ferry operating times are limited. oh did I say the tax assessment office needs to be revamped, fixed, and taxes need to be drastically reduced. "

"This is not a walkable community. Public transportation is not reliable. The Downtown Haverstraw area is cute and has culture but it still needs work to make it safer and more appealing. "

Easy connection to NYC via ferry to Metro North train, or bus. Gardening done for you, beautiful each season!"

"An old town past it's prime. Very few activities, restaurants, shopping. Virtually no activities for children except for school sports. Demographic population is primarily Hispanic. High School Taxes and Utilites due to declining number of businesses. Many older houses converted to rental apartments."
