5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst school district you could send your child I am a father of three and I would not recommend this school to any other parents due to lack of how professional they are. They really lack in that field and you cannot even pay for your child to attend another district.. I wouldn't even rate them a one star very unprofessional school periodParent Review9y ago - Peach County High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis website is quite outdated. Peach Co built a brand new school that opened in 2021-2022 school year. Its a beautiful campus with an amazing football stadium, batting cages, greenhouse, FFA barn, etc. We moved to this district for the current school year & my son is a senior. He's struggled with school since he started kindergarten. While I'm not impressed by my sons assigned counselor, there is another Ms. Norris, who is fabulous. She has helped us out tremendously. The Bad:The district has some odd policies such as you can't do a remedial course for a class you failed unless you failed the class at their school. Being a county near a military installation, I find that ridiculous. The dress code is also pretty stringent. I'm sorry - these are high school kids. No tank tops or short shorts, I get that. But no sweat pants???? SMH. Thats at the top of teen fashion for the past 5 years.Lunch is only 20 minutes and there isn't adequate seating. Lunch should be a chance to relax and socialize, but kids are scarfing down food (if they eat at all) to finish in that short window. Tough for a brown bagger much less kids that have to go through the lunch line. The Good:There are only 4 periods in a day. I disliked this at first as they classes are 85min long each. However, my son rarely has homework as he has time to finish it in class AND to have a teacher present to assist if he's having difficulties. They have a good selection of classes. For instance, my son is taking Forensic Science this semester which he is very excited about (first time for everything lol). School population is more diverse than his previous school one county over. The last school was very clique. He had trouble making friends there, but he had several friends within the first week at Peach Co.Everything is new and modern so kids/teachers don't have the difficulties of broken equipment, outdated technology, etc.Parent Review1y ago - Kay Road Elementary

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe websites not going to reflect the true picture unless you leave the review for the algorithm to update, in my personal experience this school is very engaging with students and the teachers have an upbeat and happiness about them, they are concerned about each child's progress and are actively pushing to provide an excellent and lasting experience.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 2X Airport Rd.

"I have lived in my neighborhood for a little over two years. There are lots of families here and everyone looks out for one another and says hello when you pass by. It’s a sweet little area made up of a good mix of races. Housing is affordable and a good place to start a family. We are only minutes from downtown and the grocery stores. "

"My neighborhood is unique because it offers a mixed diversity. The people are helpful and the community leaders do a great creating community events for all to attend free of charge, however, Perry has a ridiculous water bill fee that they should reconsider as the taxes are much higher here and the water bill is $120 a month. The bill is this high due to basic fees for the new fire department and other fees they have tacked on. The actually water I used and was charged for was $19. So I was charged an additional $101 in fees. While I love my home and neighborhood, I do plan to move to Warner Robins or another city within the county in the next 5 years. "

"I've lived in Perry since 1995. It's a great place to raise a family. The schools are top-notch. It's a small town that still has the small town appeal. It's close enough to larger towns, i.e. Warner Robins and Macon, to enjoy the amenities they have to offer, including job opportunities."
