6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGenerally speaking, the school is a positive learning environment with great teachers and clerical staff. However, students with high academic achievement but socioemotional needs do not get the support or services they need. Would not recommend if your child may need a 504 plan but is not falling behind academically. This seems to be a trend in the school district.Parent Review1y ago - Heritage School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHands down the best school that my child has attended. The principal is amazing. She has built a great team of professionals. She is very involved and helpful. Our teacher was awesome. The class had the best year ever.Parent Review1y ago - Saline Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are far better schools in the district and state. There the reason that they have lost about 1,000 students over the last several years and it's not due to low birth rates like the superintendent would have you believe. There is absolutely no special education. There is no safety practices. There are no mental health services especially in the middle school or even discussion of that. Children in the Middle School are suffering and they are doing nothing about it. Drug problems are running rampant School level along with very serious problems that they will not address. It's a ticking time bomb at SMS. From suing parents who want help with their children to expelling children with special education needs to hiding information and very unethical practices it's frightening what's going on. Not to mention the racism.Parent Review1y ago - Saline High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePLEASE READ im a freshman here and i have ADHD. the acomatations here are a bit better than at the middle school but i still feel nervous asking for them. i have some good teachers and some that are not so good, for example, my acting teacher will talk for about 30 minutes of each class and keeps repeating the same thing over and over, we also have some students in that class with disabilaties one student is in a motorized wheelchair, my teacher had us do may activities that the wheelchair student was unable to do for example, we had to do an activity when you had to either sit, stand or lay down. obvosly the wheelchair student could not do any of that but she still had to go up to the front of the class (with a group) and preform. she is thankfuly not in the class anymore. there are many supportive teachers here and if your student has ADHD, ADD, or anything like that i recommend putting them in an accademic support class which is a class where you can do your classwork or homework with help from a teacher. this is the class i am wrighting this in. lastly we are almost half way through the year and almost done with the first trimester, and we have done TWO fire drils but NONE of the other ones. but overall this is a very nice school and i am so greatful for all the activities SHS has to offer and how safe it is.thank you for reading this, i hope this will help you.Freshman class of 2027Student Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 2931 S Madrono Ct.

"I have very easy access to public transportation. I can ride my bicycle anywhere, and safely for the most part. I don’t drive to work so I can’t speak to the traffic, but from what I can tell, there is quite a morning rush into downtown. I love living in Ann Arbor. The current road closures for the purpose of allowing business to overflow outside their walls for the safety of those who wish to be consumers- I think is wonderful example of people coming together to work around hardship. "Love where I live ! Good commutes. Multicultural. Great food and friendly people everywhere. Now one parties harder than Ann Arbor. I love my job and the environment that Ann Arbor has to offer. It’s amazing out here. There’s so many beautiful nature places to take up your time or lovely shopping downtown. Literally has everything. I love Ann Arbor. Seriously. "

"I live in this neighborhood for a year in a half, pretty standard relax environment if your looking for a more involve community this isn’t it but it’s also not a college town area. More so a upper level students area or maybe couples moving in together start out. Only thing I would change is cost not much here for the amount they charge."

"I have lived in this area for 25+ years and LOVE Ann Arbor. We have so many community events, art and restaurants. Plus it us very easy to get around by bus or Uber if you need them. The train runs to Chicago daily and to Detroit as well : there is also buses to the airport several times a day. "

"I live in a community of condos and see dogs rarely. However, when spending time in neighborhoods around downtown, I do often see dogs being walked. Some neighborhoods are better than others in terms of sidewalk care; street lighting outside of downtown can be minimal. "

"High taxes for little return. Crowded schools. Roads in need of repair. Claimed to be the most educated city in someone's book, if you are so smart, then fix these issues instead of tearing up and then paving a dedicated bike lane on a road with nothing wrong with it."

"In my specific neighborhood, they have a dinner at a nearby restaurant in the Winter and someone hosts a pool party in the summer. That’s all I’m aware of in my neighborhood. Too many things to name for Ann Arbor in general. It has it all."

"We live south of Eisenhower Rd and really like the area. It’s really safe and less expensive than the more northern parts of Ann Arbor. There isn’t much to do on the south side of town, you either have to go west towards Maple Rd or head north to downtown/ Kerrytown. The south side seems like a nice place for kids and pets, especially if you want to get away from the annoying parking and bustle of downtown and university. "
