"Rio Verde is a wonderful place to live so long as you have reliable transportation -- the closest shopping is in Fountain Hills, 10 miles away. There is no public transportation. That said, the area is clean, safe, very walkable, and there is a community center to die for -- pool, gym, library, game room, etc."
