Description

Classic Park Slope charm abounds in this brick 19-foot wide single family townhouse. This 3 story plus cellar house provides a perfect marriage of period details and modern conveniences.
The gracious stoop enters into the heart of the house with the stunning parlor floor living room, featuring an original marble mantle converted to an ethanol fireplace, original wood flooring, oversized windows, original decorative plaster moldings, and high ceilings with the original medallion. Sliding wooden pocket doors create a divider into the dining room with original decorative tin ceilings, with elegant glass and wood built-in cabinetry. The newly renovated windowed kitchen with double height cabinetry is neatly tucked away next to the dining room. The parlor level has a newly renovated full bathroom with stylish micro-cement walls. With a door just off the dining room to the deck, barbecuing in the warmer months is made easy. The backyard, which is accessible from the deck or the garden level, is built out with turf, and is framed beautifully by a glorious magnolia tree and ideal for lounging or playing.
The top floor of the house is laid out to have 3 bedrooms and an updated full bathroom. The primary bedroom faces the garden and has a charming windowed office space. The garden level features 3 more rooms which can be used as bedrooms, dens, offices, or rec spaces. The garden floor has a full bathroom. This house has mini split HVAC units throughout as well as radiator heating. Roughly 1800sqft of FAR remains on this house for any future expansion. As an added bonus, this property has an approved short term rental registration number.
275 14th St is located in the vibrant South Slope with fantastic restaurants and shops in all directions. Favorite spots such as Lore, Cheese Plate, Fonda, MIN.K, Le French Tart, and Union Market are within blocks. Easy access to the F/G/R trains.

"Please don’t bring more dogs to this neighborhood. We already have enough and owners already do a very poor job of either 1) picking up after them or 2) keeping them leashed. Saw a dog unlawfully unleashed in the park destroy a tree the other day. Continually have to ask owners to not let dogs defecate on our fenced sidewalk gardens. Just don’t. How hard is it? "
