"I think glen carbon is a pretty safe town. Their roads are pretty busy though. I wouldn’t let kids walk long distances. Many great restaurants and very close to SIUE"

"Little crime. Not much traffic. Feel very very safe here! Great library. The local playgrounds are fun for kids and not too crowded. Like the woods behind my house and see wildlife often. Many bike paths and ymcas for exercise."
