6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere was and is nothing good about EOS. I was told by a guidance counselor my sophomore year that I would probably not graduate high school, let alone go to community college. From that point I was excluded from ECE and AP classes and even removed from my honors classes. I was excluded from classes that were required for college admissions (chemistry being one). I was a first gen student (my mom is an immigrant) and we knew nothing about the college process and clearly, guidance was unwilling to help. If you are not wealthy, have a strong last name or parental influence in the school and are not an athlete you will be left in the dark. Please save your kids from going to this school and being forgotten. Send them to Coventry, Windham/ Windham Tech or East Catholic or a prep/ CREC school if at all possible. If you can’t avoid EOS and you are a parent, fight for your kid and get outside college admissions assistance so you can help set your student up for success without depending on EOS staff.
