Life's better on the golf course! Come check out this renovation in Ormond Estates overlooking the Cypress Lakes Golf Course. 4 beds/3 full baths split. The description of an 'entertainer's dream' would be an understatement. HUGE sitting room with fireplace and bar. There are two options for dining spots, and an OVERSIZED living room that opens to an AIR-CONDITIONED sunroom. Let's be honest, what do you really care about - the kitchen and master bedroom right? The whole party could fit in this kitchen, and everyone will love the marble surfaces and the brand new ZLINE stainless steel appliances, including refrigerator and 36 gas stove. And the master bedroom? Let's just say - views of the golf course, a 113 sq ft master closet, and a showstopper bathroom with standalone tub and walk through shower. But wait, there's more! 1.5 year old roof, full house generator, and a $5,000 credit for California Closets (with a full price offer).

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible experience, although the school has high standardized test ratings, the morals of the teachers are horrible, not to mention the kids are rude, they have a no bully Friday but my child has never been into a fight until we transferred to this school, the teachers violated privacy laws and after one semester I immediately removed my child from this school. Somethings just look better on the outside I guess.Parent Review5y ago - Destrehan High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would say overall our 4 kids had good experience there. The school I would say does not place enough emphasis on going to college. The food is terrible. My kids would go all day and not eat even though they did serve pizza, hamburgers/fries. It is true that they do separate the AP kids and they do have separate functions and areas for them as a review here stated. The Ap teachers tend to be politically liberal and it was my experience that their influence has turned one of my kids heavily Left. All of this being said this is a much better option than any other private or public school within 30 miles. No Louisiana school is good by any out of state standard in my opinion.Parent Review4y ago - Harry M. Hurst Middle School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter loves this school. We moved to Destrehan from NY and chose to live here instead of New Orleans because of this school. My child has excelled in every area and has grown up into a caring, intelligent little girl. Kudos to Ms. Forster, Ms. Shepard and Ms. Andry for being awesome teachers.Parent Review14y ago - Check out schools near 26 Rosedown Dr.

"Our family moved to Destrehan May 2013, and have we ever fallen in love with the community. Offering the peace and tranquility of a small town, Destrehan is within 12-25 minutes of great shopping and dining, depend what part of the Greater NOLA area you patronize. I love the diverse culture here, the sense of community, the high educational standards given at the schools, and how clean every area is!"
