I have had 4 children and 2 grandchildren attend this school and have been very pleased with the education they received and the social skills they acquired. Many of the teachers who taught my oldest child are now teaching my youngest grandchild which is a span of over 25 years and I believe the tenure of the staff at Lake Village is conducive to a great learning environment.

The school has very little advancement opportunities and the counselors don't seem to care. Last year AP Bio was canceled as a class(it's back this year) because counselors moved all the classes with advancement opportunities to the same 2 or 3 hour periods. Students use hate speech daily with no punishment. The only language is Spanish, and the teacher is incompetent. Students are learning in Spanish 4 what they should have learned in Spanish 1. Current biology teacher was fired at his old school for being drunk. Students don't matter unless they're athletes. Students were ignored during the pandemic. Students are uncomfortable around certain teachers. Many have said that the health teacher is plainly wrong on many matters. One of the English teachers is a conspiracy theorist. There are 1.5 competent math teachers.
