4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is sub-par and really demonstrates lack of regard for student success. Students are passed along without any follow-up from the teachers. It's difficult to get in contact with the teachers to get more information about the assignments and due dates. When students fail, or at risk of failing, the teachers will curve their grades, which leaves parents in the dark with their child's status.Grades are not updated on a regular basis and students are assigned homework with out covering the materials in class. Guidance counselors do not care, and show very little regard for student success as well. Calling the principal or the superintendent doesn't help either. Voicemails, emails and other communications will fall of death's ear. It's very unfortunate there aren't a lot of public school options in this area. I'm not surprise to see the low ratings for college admissions from this school. Education nor student success is a priority here. If you're moving to this area with high schoolers, you may want to consider home school or private school.Parent Review1y ago - Lakeforest Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I feel that all parents should know exactly what's going on with their child when it comes down to learning/their education. If a child has a weakness on certain subjects that it should be pinpointed. Ways to strengthen that child's weakness should be approached and worked on. Instead, there is miscommunication. Not all kids learn at the same paste, you have kids that may need a little more help and guidance than others. Instead of children getting provided with this extra help it gets overlooked and the child is pretty much left to struggle. No child should be overlooked, no child should be left behind. But this is the case on so many levels.Parent Review5mo ago - Check out schools near 250 B Lake Rd.

"This neighborhood is is easy access to local restaurants and amenities. The city has great colleges with top notch educators. For the most part this neighborhood is safe and quiet. However, I wish that neighbors would not let their dogs run off the leash. This is an accident waiting to happen."

"Beautiful neighborhood in the dead center of Greenville. It’s a great location because you’re near everything… but you’re also surrounded by the busiest roads county. If you buy a house here, make sure you aren’t on the main entrance and exit roads.. otherwise you’ll always have cars flying by your house "

"I have been here for thee years and I love the neighborhood. People are friendly and watch out for each other. I had a lost cat and a lot of my neighbors were out looking for her. It is a great place to walk or ride your bike. We are close to several grocery stores, shopping and the mall. There are many great restaurants close by. "

"I lived in this area for a little over 3 years. The area was mostly quiet, although gunshots and fights would break out occasionally at various apartment complexes in the area. We liked being close to the greenway and the dog park, but college kids don't keep their dogs on leashes and it resulted in my dog and I being attacked several times (she was unharmed each time luckily). This area is a low-cost living area to get your foot in the door until you can get something better. Dog owners be wary of apartments close by and college-aged kids with dogs. "

"What commute? Lynndale is dead center in the middle of the city. Since Greenville is still a 15-minute city on her busiest days, that puts you 15 minutes away from everything, even on Black Friday."
