6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do not like the new principal. He is very difficult to talk with and his views and ideas are warped. We need positive leaders today leading our children.Parent Review5y ago - Butler Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school! Best office staff ever! Just the nicest people to be with and take to. Teachers are generally really good! The lunches are great! The electives are fantastic and have the best teachers in my opinion. There is some Bullying problems but every Middle School has Bullying problems. If you just have good friends then its the best experience. I always came home happy everyday after school. If you have good friends then its a good experience. If you don't have good friends then you probably won't like it as much. But my experience at Butler has been really positive!Parent Review3y ago - Ridgecrest School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf your child has any special needs do not go here. They will not handle it well and will treat your child like they are a criminal. The principal especially does not know how to handle kids that are having melt downs, and does not give them the space to calm down, and when your child wants one of their parents to come and help calm them down, the principal views it as the child is being manipulative. They view the calm down rooms or corner as a earned privilege's for good behavior which completely defeats the purpose. They do not follow up with agreed processes. Communication between the school and parents is spotty at best. You tend to find out about issues that have happened well after the fact when it is not ideal to address them with your child. If you have a special needs child RUN as fast as you can do not even bother going here it is detrimental to your Childs mental health. It has been so bad we have taken our child back to their previous school across town, where they are treated significantly better.Your child is also banned from playing on the playground before school, they are told that if they do they will get in trouble.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 2400 E 6895 S #11.
