"Lake Carroll is a development in Northwestern Illinois. There are no sidewalks because we don’t need them. We walk on the streets because there isn’t a tremendous amount of traffic. The Lake Carroll development stretches across 5500 acres. Wildlife is abundant. Amenities include a 640 acre lake, 18 hole golf course with clubhouse & restaurant, indoor & outdoor pool, Ski Hill/lodge, & ATV trail that goes around the entire property. Some live here full time and some have weekend homes. It is very relaxing and we’ve made very good friends here in the 1 1/2 years we’ve lived here. If my job takes me elsewhere we plan on keeping a house here."

"I have lived in Lake Carroll for 7 years and wish I had known about it long ago. A beautiful private community with a public golf course. Lake Carroll is located just 2 hours west of Chicago and has a 640 acre lake, 15 mile ATV/snowmobile trail system, indoor/outdoor pool complex, 18 hole golf course with clubhouse, restaurant & pro shop, ski hill, tube tow, tennis courts, 2 marinas, campgrounds, equestrian and more!"
