The principles all the way down to the janitors are awesome! Both of my kids flourished here and I am sad to say my youngest daughter will transition to middle school at the end of this year. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageim a junior here at whhs and its not good ive been here for 3 years and the bathrooms and halls and half the classes are the dirtiest places ive ever seen and the amount of fights that happen here DAILY are CRAZY the teachers are ok but even they talk wrong about this school and students mental health is some of the worst here. so take it from a student DO NOT send your child to this prison of a school.Student Review1y ago - Western Harnett Middle

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWestern Harnett? More like WORST Harnett. If you have an option to not send your kid here take it!!! This school is the absolute worst school I’ve ever heard of. They pride themselves on bring anti bully. That is a HUGE joke. If your kid is new or doesn’t fit in, do not send them. The bullies will pick and pick and even threaten. All while being told ‘ Allegedly’ this school needs help with bullying. Truly. Start holding these kids accountable! The only staff member that was warm and welcoming was the older bearded STEM teacher. He deserves better then working at this place with these bullies. "Great walking, always see my friendly neighbors. We don’t have puppy poopy bag stations, so we have to carry dog poop around. Lol. Very welcoming to dogs. "

"Quiet neighborhoods, usually active duty or retirees. Traffic isn’t extremely congested like Fayetteville. But, both Raleigh and Fayetteville are only an hour drive or so."
