There are at least 20 individual members of the faculty that have had a truely positive impact on our daughter so far and she is only in 2nd grade. They've been creative in their methods of creating a wonderful environment and their methods have worked wonders. You can tell that all the kids at the bus stop love their school. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a solid 3, it’s disgusting barely any custodians and the bathrooms are so gross. As a parent this is extremely concerning as my daughter has sent photos of the disgusting bathroom! Extremely vulgar language everywhere, no dress code as people wear tails and ears! The staff say its how they express themselves but its gross, people have even wore sports bras as well. Staff just let everything slide, fights happen a lot in the morning, bathrooms become a smoke lounge and during games its a disaster as well. So many threats of people wanting to bring a gun or “bomb the school”. Homework is bare minimum and language classes do not teach anything! Teachers are either really good or bad. The only real push you can get at this school is pushing them to pre-ap or ap but those also very easy. This school needs to do better!Parent Review1y ago

"I moved here out of necessity almost 6 yrs ago and I think it's one of the most friendly, eclectic and progressive neighborhoods....even though it's historical. Quaint and has seasonal appeal. "

"Everyone here has a dog, maybe multiple! The dog park is nice, and friendly and the apartment complexes are mostly pet friendly. We have a dog who loves to walk around the neighborhood and we always pass others with dogs. Not everyone picks up poop but there is a ton of doggie stations for bags! Personally we were inspired to get a dog because so many people had one here already and we wanted to join in on the fun! Main Street is pet friendly too and the Katy trail is a great path for dogs. "

"St. Charles has always been my favorite place to live! you can walk safely for miles. The Katy trail and Main street are worth paying a little more to live within walking distance, but I will say the cost of living has started to really increase in the past 5 years in this area."
