"I have worked in this area at a local school. The area is okay in regards to safety issues. There are issues with transients walking the streets at times. "

"This is a great area to live in and an exceptional value if you don't have school-age children. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and I feel safe walking my dog and looking at all the great, old homes. Lots of professionals and artsy types have chosen to make Old Town their home. I especially recommend the area between 7th and 11th and between Gladys and Harrison."
