4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Lehman a few years ago, my last year was when they installed the metal detectors. It's a very big school, if you can find yourself into the honor program you can really take advantage of what the schools offers. They offer numerous AP classes that transfer over when you move into college, and the honor classes help prepare students for college.Other Review7y ago - Ps 36 Unionport

Thebonly reason my youngest will not graduate from 5th grade at 36 is because I moved away .Parent Review10y ago - Jhs 125 Henry Hudson

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei attend this school and i can say the learning is mid i feel like 8th graders this school does not prepare their students for the work high school hands us. The teachers are helpful when they need to be, posters of work really never go up and the classrooms are so messy. The blueprint are never free and you need a pass to go to them which is handed out ever so often and the students that skip class often makes it hard to build trust to talk to an administrator. My school is small and for kids with special needs only have a long hallway to themselves... Other kids aren't allowed in that hall way and i feel like those kids need to be around others but hey i don't make the rules. The safety in blueprint is poor they just got the cameras running again and they installed a system on the door that makes sounds when opened without the key but they leave the main door open all day and the area of the school isn't the most peaceful theirs a lot of gang activity around the school and kids have followed it into school as well, a lot of people i know got jumped and disrespected in blueprint from race to were you grew up and the gang you stand with . To end off this off there is never a parent teacher talk. It's always the dean or someone higher than a teacher calling parents. Teachers won't call you, that's up to the parent. all in all this school sucks and if i was a parent i won't curse my child by sending them to this school. "Depenends what part of Westchester you live in. People on this street don’t really get in the Holidays spirit. Which is a bit depressing. I am trying to move out. My family works hard. But because we don’t have good credit is really difficult to rent a decent place. Yet there’s people here that clearly don’t work at all. But have a place to live? ......"

"I always clean up after my dogs. However, there are people who don't and some of the homeowners in the neighborhood are very aggressive and blame my dogs for other people's dog mess. I always have poop bags with me and they are clearly visible on my dog's leash. "

"I have been living here for more than two years. It's really nice. However, Some of the busy areas where most of the restaurants and groceries aren't always kept clean. This place doesn't feel private, you feel more connected to the neighbors because some of them are a bit noisy(I like quiet places so maybe it's just my issue). Parking can be an issue if you don't get a garage. You are safe to walk alone at night from 6 to 12 but after that, some areas can be a little unsafe(I experienced safety issue once when I was walking after like 12 o'clock but thankfully I was with my elder brother and someone else so nothing too dramatic happened)."
