5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI open enrolled my son out of the Iowa City School District into the CCA District for various reasons. I am EXTREMELY happy and impressed with the dedication and care that the teachers at this elementary have shown towards my son. The district even worked it out so my son could bus from Tiffin (a lot closer to where I live) out to the Oxford elementary. My son loves his school and his teachers. He has fit in perfectly and is making friends fast. The teachers are keeping him involved and he is loving it. The thing that impressed me the most was the new Principal. We dropped our son off the first day of school, and he was walking the halls and already knew most of the kid's names, including the new Kindergartners! Now that's dedication! I highly recommend anyone not happy with Iowa City schools to consider CCA district.Parent Review8y ago - Clear Creek Amana High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageClear Creek Amana High School is not safe for any child who is not white, Christian, cisgendered, heterosexual, and able bodied. I dropped out because attending this school made me *miserable.*It has significantly set back my progress in education, and I have fallen behind my peers. If you want to keep your children safe at school, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE.Other Review9mo ago - Clear Creek Amana Middle School

"North Liberty Jazz Fest. I believe it happens once a year and is located across the area school. Usually nice music and good food with plenty of options. Unfortunately because of such large turnouts they have banned bringing dogs into the area. "

"Everyone has dogs. Most yards are fenced in which makes it pet friendly. Some neighbors aren’t the best about their dogs barking but most are. "

"Great schools friendly people and low crime rate. These are huge qualities of North Liberty. Coming from Boston, you would never get a public school education there like you can get here. "

"North liberty used to be a very nice, quiet, bedroom community. It was a wonderful small town with a quaint feel. However, over the last 10 years has become another generic suburbia. On average, there is one strip mall for every 10 residents with more being built every week. Even though more than half of the properties sit vacant, the city continues to allow more to be built. When strip malls aren’t being built, there are overpriced zero lots and condos going up. The housing market is so overpriced that finding a decent home for less than $225,000 is just about impossible. 15 years ago you could find a three bedroom two bath house with a huge backyard for under 130,000. "There are a lot of dog owners in this area. There is a trail that many people use to take their dogs on walks! "
- Brianna S.

"Plenty of walking trails and parks to venture to all over no matter what part of the town you’re in, dog parks and hiking trails all quite close as well and just outside of town. Seems to be more pet friendly rental wise here than Iowa City. "
