"streets are dirty and pack or stray dogs randomly running around the neighborhood. keep them on leashes and pick up after your dogs! "

"Helpful neighbors. For the most part, if you don't bother anybody nobody will bother you. We get to experience the beautiful fireworks on a regular basis from the A's games at the Coliseum. They're big on celebrating holidays as well, every holiday you'll see street vendors selling merch. That's what makes my neighborhood unique."

"This is a lower income area, however this part of East Oakland is not ridden with gang violence (though on the other side of Bancroft, or towards the avenues of the 60s to 80's, also towards Fruitvale BART is is sketchy. Lots of good neighbors who look out for one another. I moved here with the knowledge that there are less break ins and auto thefts than my apartment by Lake Merritt!"
