Children on the bus left in an ambulance on a stretcher. "I have lived in the hood for 10 years and I truly like it. Most people are friendly and caring. It is a nice community to live in and raise your children. Alliance has a lot to offer and people who live here are truly blessed. This is a great place to raise your children and also to find a love of your life. Safe and friendly! "

"Unfriendly areas mostly. Sidewalks are mostly broken and hard to walk on. Often glass shards or other debris littering the few sidewalks available. "

"Other people letting their dogs use the bathroom in your yard is an issue, but being able to have large dogs, esp the breed, is wonderful. Just make sure you have some type of insurance. "

"I have lived in and around my neighborhood for 28 years nothing really unique about it,we do have a lot of community meals places in the area and places to receive help if you find your falling behind on your utilities & rent also places to get clothes and food and free sit down meals,most of it is done through donations and volunteers like myself and my husband."

"The smells, the noises, and the sights. For example, you may smell barbeque in one part of Alliance and train fuel in another. Alliance is also big on trains and circle K. Chances are you'll run into someone you know there, at least 8 times out of 10."
