3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is not the best in my opinion. There’s lots of fights mainly in 6&7 grade but there’s still fights in 8th grade as well. The main principal is not that good because most of the time she doesn’t listen to both sides of the argument before making a decision. The authorities are rude as well as the people at the front office are rude too. I feel like the care more about grades than us students. The bathrooms are not very clean and most of them don’t even have tp and soap. The teachers are mostly good but as a lot of them left the subs took over and don’t know how to run the class. There hasn’t been any pep rally’s or field trips in 2 and a half years other than the student vs teacher soccer game. I could go on and on about this but I’ve told the hard cold truth about the school in my opinion. In conclusion I recommend not even touch this school with a 39/2 foot poll. I wish I could have left sooner but Im in my last year so it wouldn’t be worth leaving now. I’m very sad about this last year of morehead it could of been so much better.Student Review2y ago - Coronado High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy school is the best experience I have ever had regarding education, I came from other country and it was a challenge to fit in in this new environment, but Coronado students are really charismatic and there is no hate for anyone, all of us are Thunderbirds as a whole. The majority of the teachers know what to do in class. The secretaries, counselors and coordinators are really helpful. Coronado High School is a great school, I honestly think that it is one of the best schools to attend in El Paso.Student Review10y ago - Silva Health Magnet High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCurrently, a Senior at Silva who will graduate with a 4.2 GPA, and I can tell you this school has prepared me with a strong resume for college and even the workforce. Silva does give you a great insight into the healthcare field and, by the time you graduate, you will definitely have a decision as to whether healthcare is for you or not. The clinical rotations at Silva are great, since they let you shadow in actual hospitals and see procedures you would only see during college such as surgeries. In addition, some senior programs even let you shadow any physician you want. As a graduating Silva student, I have obtained healthcare certifications that will allow me to work in a decent healthcare part-time job during college while building my resume for medical school. Everyone else that says that "Silva is too hard", just doesn't have the drive or doesn't put in the work to make up for a good grade. Silva is definitely not hard, it only requires a bit of determination. If you are a person who tends to underperform or slack off in school with the childish excuse that "it's too much for my mental health" then, I can assure you, you will have a bad time at Silva because you won't take responsibility for your failures and will blame it all on your teachers or your nonexistent teeneage "mental issues".Parent Review11mo ago - Green Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attended here from K-3, with the first 2 years being excellent. This school, like another parent noted, has deteriorated greatly. I would no longer recommend any child attend here. Our last year there was so bad that we left before the semester was over to attend private school. There are so many problems that I don't know where to start. The school is currently overrun with transfer students that should be attending Johnson. It has been a huge problem affecting everything from Drop off/Pick up to the quality of the PTA (which used to be one of the best, but is now run by transfer parents). Administration doesn't care and do not follow up on anything. The VP and Principal side with bullies and aggressors, and try to cover up everything from sexual harassment to bullying to death threats. Teachers have been assaulted by students. The bullying is as bad as inner city schools and includes threats of violence. Special needs students are not treated well, do not receive appropriate supports, and are denied transfer requests. Morale amongst the staff and teachers is understandably low. There has been teacher turnover. It's sad, but what was once a great school is no longer that.Parent Review7y ago - Career & Tech Ed Center

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI enrolled two children here a few years apart and they had wonderful experiences participating in summer research programs, band, orchestra, math competitions and more. They made lifelong friends. They are both very well prepared for University and graduated high school with associate degrees.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 227 Crown Point Dr.
