"Beautiful Tree lined streets with wonderful detached houses. Neighbors are friendly and look after one another. Streets are quiet and safe. The Muni Metro underground station is just down the hill, making downtown commute very easy. Lots of restaurants nearby, as well as Golden Gate Park. Neighborhood Association has a wonderful, architecturally significant Club House for events. Very special and historic neighborhood. This is a very special neighborhood! "

"This is a wonderful, quiet, oasis in the City, yet only 15 minutes by Muni to the Financial District. Beautiful trees and homes, a really nice group of neighbors, peace and quiet! Pretty near shopping and restaurants of West Portal and easy access to 280 and the Peninsula. The fog's also not nearly as bad as everyone says."
