You are looking for a new construction feel, but don't want to give up living on a tree lined street? Welcome to 22625 W. 49th Street. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot good. They didn’t know what they were doing and I got a detention for stating my RIGHTS. This is outrageous and I don’t recommend. The teachers are kinda sexist and not fair. I was a student there 4 years ago and I’m getting nightmares.Other Review5mo ago - Mill Valley High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs an alumni just perusing on the internet to see how my high school ranks, I am relieved to see the overall consensus aligns with my own experience. I loved my time in high school and believe the education I received was strong and prepared me well for college. The community I was able to form with teachers and students alike during my four years at Mill Valley has supported me well and continues to do so. While there are some typical high school struggles, I believe Mill Valley High School is a great place for students to develop both in academics and in personal growth. Much of the staff has changed since my time at the Valley so my understanding of the current environment at the school may be out dated- I have ranked the below topics to the best of my own knowledge.Other Review3y ago - Prairie Ridge Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe couldn't be happier with this school, our children's grades have improved since their last school and one with Autism has met all his goals and has caught up to his peers in reading and math. We love Prairie Ridge!Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 22625 W 49th St.

"The community has lots of events on a regular basis for pretty much anyone, Old Shawnee Days, bike rodeo, Halloween, Easter parade, Neighborhood pool is great, mill creek trail and the others."

"Most of Shawnee is nice. Great access to any amenities you could ever need. People are decently nice as well. Older homes, 65-75% are maintained well. I feel fairly safe here, though I know there is some crime occasionally (at least in my immediate area). I personally feel the houses out here are a bit overpriced for what they are— older and on the small side, and many are not updated."

"Great location and close to I-35 so you can get anywhere fairly easy. Shopping is wonderful either going towards 435 there’s Walmart, pet stores Lowe’s all together. The roads are meh, still bad pot holes. Being close to Quivera is a plus, can get to the Mall fairly quick. Great chain restaurants everywhere. "
