"Stunning water views. Very nice neighbors!! Everyone has a dog! Yards are well kept and neat. I feel very safe here! I don’t have kids at home. They are all grown. I don’t know what to say to a parent?!"

"Amazing small town of two coffee shops, 8 restaurants, 3 bars, two grocers, plenty of hair salons, a dog park, a playground, a huge indoor historic swimming pool, and 5 min walk through the tunnel to beach and parks. It’s amazing and a hidden gem/bubble of the Bay Area most don’t know about. You cannot see it from the highway. Lower crime because the highway basically is a massive wall sectioning off the town and only two ways in/out."

"Beautiful views of SF. Quiet condo neighborhood with lots of nature around including deer, turkeys, Fox etc. "

"Great area - much safer on average than most of the surrounding areas. When moving to the Bay Area last year, we looked in Berkeley, Albany, Oakland, Richmond, Pinole, etc. In terms of price, safety, and activities, we felt confident choosing Point Richmond. It's an easy walk into the little historic downtown with shops and good restaurants, and nice hiking paths are also within easy reach for daily runs. It's also close to the bridge and an easy commute to the rest of the East Bay or north just across the bridge to Marin. "

"I have lived in the area for 2.5 years. There are car thefts, burgularies, abandoned vehicles, prostitution, and half way houses in this really small community. I have never ever lived in such a high crime area. At least 5 neighbors on my block and the next had their homes robbed. It is basically Richmond not Point Richmond."
