9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does not take good care of their students many of the teachers there are rude and talk very crazy to students. This school does not take school threats as seriously as they should. The classrooms are very small I had to suffer and fail chemistry honors because all the regular chem classes were full and I had to take it that year. Many of the teachers punished you when you were away because of sickness, sports, family, etc etc. The new principle has already enforced rules that are against girls; low rise jeans, shirts, sweats, pj pants, crop tops, halter tops, jewelry, and etc etc. I feel yes there should be a dress code to an extent you are basically telling girls they have to cover up to not distract other classmates, ALSO NO TANK TOPS IN SUMMER. The new principle and dress code is just a bunch of sexism which I do not think is fair. The average students at this school are very overlooked. Too much racial tension between students and adults on campus seemingly blames the Black kids, especially the boys. Fights are almost every day and being recorded and shared on social media sites, drugs are sold on campus by certain kids. Drugs are shared on campus by certain kids. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter with special needs goes to this school. For the entire year they didn’t have sped teacher, my daughter always comes home very dirty. I wish I can go to the school to check how my daughter is doing in this school but parents are not allowed because of Covid-19. They did not follow my daughters IEP because of some system trouble even though we submitted her printed IEP because it is a requirement upon enrollment. I just can’t wait to be transferred next year, this is far the worst elementary school in Chula Vista, maybe its because of Covid, or they are not a good school for special needs I don’t really know I just hope no parent will experience this kind of school for their special needs children. "My commute is very easy and clean. The bus stations that they have out here are very well kept and lit. The only issue with the transit commute in this area is how long it takes you to get somewhere like Downtown or the beach. It’s a long ways away, but the commute is pleasant."

"We don’t really have community events. I currently live with my parents and the area in which we live in, Coast Hills in Chula Vista, is extremely suburban. Everyone is friendly and neighbors are extremely pleasant. Area is quiet, except for the occasional howling of coyotes who live in the mountains adjacent to our residential area. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years. The streets are quiet. It is very safe and the schools are excellent. We know our neighbors well and it's a great place to raise a family. People are always walking their dog. Parks, shopping and restaurants are nearby."
