Description

Welcome to the Packard Lofts, a boutique style building located within a block of the new soccer stadium! This area of downtown is being branded as “City Commons.” If all goes as planned, within a few years visitors will immediately recognize City Commons as the new name for the blocks that surround CityPark, which opened in late 2022. As $1 billion of new development opened or is planned around the $460 million soccer stadium, and blocks of properties ripe for redevelopment are going on the market, you’ll be perfectly positioned to watch and benefit from all the growth. And you’ll love doing so from the comforts of this amazing LOFT! Inside you have (2) LARGE + PRIVATE BEDROOMS, (2) HUGE SOUTH-FACING WINDOWS with views directly toward the stadium (roar with the crowd as SC scores a GOOAAAALLLL!), a spacious living area w/interior brick, tall ceilings, concrete floors and modern kitchen and baths (jetted tub in primary). STUNNING! Private garage parking + in-unit laundry top it off.

"Downtown West is great, but very loud. Lots of restaurants and some bars nearby, so good for folks in their 20's or who like going out! "

  • Kyani A.
"The area isn’t for families. It is more convenient for professionals. It is not kid friendly and has a number or bars/restaurants for socializing."

"People don’t pick up their dog poop and drive down Washington like insane people, but other than that it’s nice "

"The area is very central for restaurants and socializing. It’s not a good area for families with kids. Overall, I’ve enjoyed my time here minus the parking."

"Not a lot of dog parks nearby. There are some, but you gotta drive to them or at least put the pup in a cart. "

"Cons: The homeless shelter is right behind this property. The dog park is also right behind this building (which is cluttered with the homeless people all sleeping on the benches). Absolutely no rooftop amenties and your alloted 1 parking spot in a tiny garage which is vague and nasty in the basement (smells like garbage, because its filled with the tenants trash cans). Security into the building is good (key code needed) but once in, there is not security on the elevator (no elevator key needed) Pros: Everything is within walking distance "

  • Kevin S.
"Cons: The entrace to the building is in an alley that is VERY unsafe, dark at night (no lights), and scary. Very questionable people use that alley for a short cut path. I was robbed at knifepoint in broad daylight visiting a friend at 1222 Lucas last summer. Pros: The building is pet friendly, however there is not a dog park within walking distance, and you definately do not want to be in that alley at night when your pet has to relieve himself. Shops, entertainment, and dining is close by."
