Wilson does not have enough discipline when it comes to kids wandering campus during class or when it comes to vaping and drug use especially in bathrooms. Instead of punishing the children involved their solution is to lock up multiple bathrooms at the same time restricting access to the students. These "solutions" are all similar in nature when it comes to various problems. The school strongly favors minority groups and the amount of assignments and clubs and months and weeks surrounding "inclusivity" are outrageous. I do not feel represented in this school. This school is highly politically biased and I'll leave it at that. Many kids at this school have horrible attitudes and i feel that the low work ethics of said students brush off on others. I am not saying that all kids are like this, but a very high amount of them are. If I could pick my high school again I would not pick Wilson.Student Review1y ago - Alvarado Elementary School

This is her final year and sadly the process in her transition to middle school was handled VERY POORLY. There was NO COMMUNICATION in regards to a major change that will SEVERELY IMPACT our daughter. With no one taking responsibility for "the ball being dropped". "It use to be very races back in the days, but now so many different cultures live in Signal Hill, most of us all respect ✊🏾 each other it’s a very, safe, community like a small family!!! I sometimes feel it better well kept then Long Beach!!!"

"There are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood. Mostly little dogs. There is a dog park not far from here. Very well kept and very clean. There are a lot of squirrels, birds and other critters in the neighborhood. This can be a challenge if your dog(s) have a high prey drive. Mine do and it’s a nightmare trying to keep the dogs from chasing the wildlife. I can also hear coyotes howling in the evening from time to time. Although my dogs are larger breeds, it is still a valid concern."

"This town and the surrounding areas are heavily populated, everyone has a car so parking is difficult unless you have a garage. From 6am to anytime expected traffic due to lousy drivers or roadway construction. "
