Socially, there's lots of activities available as one would expect with 2k+ student body and state-of-the-art facilities but bullying and drugs are disturbingly prevalent. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAlthough there are some strong teachers, they are all new and young (all of the experienced teachers miraculously left within the first few years after the arrival of the no longer new Principal). The Principal is an administrator, not a leader. The school community is significantly lacking without empowered and experienced educators and strong leadership. "My neighborhood has excellent schools and nice parks. The city center is lively and has a nice mix of shops and restaurants. There are many houses of worship and people maintain their homes. Great community to walk around and sightsee pretty gardens and nice landscaping."

"I have lived here for 22 years. There are first-rate Newton schools close by, easy public transportation to downtown Boston, and tennis courts and a golf course within walking distance. Houses are older with large trees and beautiful gardens. "
