The principal and administration do a good job with parent involvement, discipline and coordinating. My son has flourished in his reading and writing abilities. We work at home with him, help with homework (especially w/ math) and reading 20 mins a day but, his progress would not be possible without the help and support of his awesome teachers. Your primary responsibility is to ensure your students succeed and achieve good passing grades. The school is rated 1 out or 10, English math and science pass rates are so low, but after reading all the reviews by teachers and friends of teachers its all about how the school is the "Greatest". Live by your words and ensure the students succeed, offer after school programs extra studies... make sure each and every student as the very least can meet the national average.For all parents out there, protect your children and stay away from this school. "It’s a nice neighborhood to walk your doggie in. Neighbors keep the sidewalk clean. But beware of loose dogs! Some dogs I have found to be aggressive with mine and have had scary run ins. "

"This is a much nicer neighborhood than most people in L.A. realize. It has a diverse population and friendly neighbors. There is a very active community group that meets monthly. A new public park was recently upgraded. Close to downtown and close to the westside, plus right off the 10 fwy. Home prices are still reasonable per sft, especially compared to just north of here towards Wilshire."
