I went here until my junior year. One of the guidance counselors spends a large part of her day socializing with other staff rather than helping students. The school nurse is rarely available, there are days she's gone for 4 periods and even when she's their not much of her attention is put towards the students. The principle is rarely there. The school deals very poorly with issues like anxiety and depression. They have some good clubs (Multicultural club, Drama club, Amnesty International, etc). They teach french, spanish, german and one of the language teachers even teaches farsi during her free period. They have some AP, and honors options. They are the only school in the area offering photography with film cameras(This may have changed as the art teacher retired). I believe they excel in swimming, but definitely not a school for football players. The football team seems sadder each year. Outstanding small school with involved and caring faculty, staff and parents. Having graduated one child from Folsom after two years and with two to go, I can say with confidence that moving to this welcoming town was a great decision. The faculty and leadership are constantly striving to find the best mix of programs and education delivery methods for our children. Extra-curricular activities are plentiful with many students taking part in chorus, band, lego club, soccer, basketball, school plays, etc. One key thing that makes this school work so well is the openness of the faculty and leadership to accept criticisms and concerns and to act upon them to ensure all students receive the best opportunity for learning possible. Kudos to the Folsom community for making this school such a wonderful place for learning and growth!

To be honest the school really sucked I would get in trouble for stuff I didn’t even do and I got falsely accused at least five times and the teachers were sucky to me just because i made jokes in class Once I even got in trouble for just laughing yup just laughing On the last day of school me and my friends were joking around and picking on one of my friends parents and I got sent to the den because it was disrespectful even though the friend that we were picking on his parents was fine with it and we were just laughing and having a good time and we got in trouble for it and the teachers got me in trouble for the dumbest reasons just because they didn’t like me The coolest teacher by far there was Mr. Grenon and probably my favorite because of how cool and nice he was Anyway I think I got my point through the school is sucky
