4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDenfeld has been wonderful for my child. When my child started there three years ago, his grades were not that great. Through the inspiration of the teachers and staff, I watched my child soar! Not only are their grades almost at a 3.9 (taking AP courses) but my child is also happy almost every day. In addition, the other students are very supportive of each other. If you're thinking of sending your child here, I would say this: in a time when so many kids don't have a lot of social interaction with each other, the Denfeld students really bond together and most likely your child will be able to make long lasting friendships. In addition, the teachers are Denfeld are phenomenal! I really can't say enough about how wonderful they are. My son is always telling me stories of how the teachers interact with their students. They genuinely care about their students; they show them by being present and putting in the extra effort to make sure they feel heard and that they understand the class material. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've been happy with the progress my child made from the beginning of school to the end of school. It looks like the rating of the school went from a 7/10 to 4/10 and it serves as a reminder that every school needs to be evaluated by the parents using more than a metric created by a website. There are a fair amount of kids in a language immersion program at this school, and while they might show as slightly behind other kids in English only programs, there are unrivaled cognitive benefits to young children learning another language early in their life. "Looking to move here from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Love Lake Superior and all the beautiful views. Going to be taking care of my mom, who is a stroke victim. Duluth has always been a favorite of mine. As kids my brothers and I had gone to Duluth for school shopping, clothes. I love the weather here as well."
