1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Lincoln high and I wish I had the opportunity to go back and go to another school. I will not be sending my daughter here. I'm not sure if those are fake reviews, but I and my daughter..? Man. Please don't send your child here. I was not prepared for college and I ended up dropping out each time I tried to go back because I didn't have the study skills or any other sort of college prep that my friends from other high schools had. I was absent almost an entire quarter both semesters of my senior year and they didn't care. "So much love in our neighborhood! Block parties, birthday parties, shoot even impromptu parties! We couldn’t love these people any more than we do! You’re emerged in culture and diversity! Such a lovely place to live and get to love the people around you! "

"Great living in middle of town as your kids get in activities and you have to drive all around town. Neighbors pay attention for anything out of the ordinary and are helpful when needed. Good mix of older and younger families. "

"I have lived in the same area for years. this is the cheapest part of town. prices for rent keeps getting bigger but unless there is something else done about crappy Landlords who don't take care of their Properties! there needs to be a watchdog society that can enforce strict laws of how property should be handled and cared for!"

"It needs minor updates to fix certain things! Crime is next to none. Bus stops are almost everywhere so you can get to either downtown or wherever. And some volunteering places for those who want to give back to the community. People are friendly, some walk dogs. Area is kept clean except for occasional bad weather, then taken care of. But it's decent area of town to live."

"I've lived in my home in this neighborhood for 29 years and raised my family here. I have been friends with my neighbors, some for the entire time we've been here. The old homes in our neighborhood have character worth perserving and taking pride in as well as front porches to encourage neighborhood gatherings. Near South is home in every sense of the word."
