2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThings have probably changed since I went to Colbert (2018-2021, 3rd through 5th grade), but my experience was great. The school was really focused on STEM (as a STEM school should be) and had great programs. I was lucky enough to be part of the debate and robotics teams, both of which were amazing. There was even a Minecraft club at one point (during virtual learning). Speaking of which, they handled virtual learning perfectly with Teams, Zoom, and online learning tools. There are some fights, yes, but that's to be expected with any Broward School (speaking from someone who's been in the Broward school system for around 7 or 8 years now), and the teachers handle them calmly. They have several fun family events (my absolute favorite being EIE, the engineering and science projects they do each quarter, then present in a convention of sorts) The campus is beautiful and clean. All in all, 5 stars.Other Review1y ago - Olsen Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn an all-inclusive manner, it was a school of unadulterated mediocrity: the school building was architecturally mesmerizing, and the preponderance of the teachers and staff were affectionate and magnanimous. This institution, on the other hand, has had several deficiencies that may be problematic to comprehend. You are arbitrarily authorised to patronize specializations that are unsuitable for your priorities, and there are students who consistently cause such uncivilized controversies and dilemmas because a significant portion of teachers and staff are argumentative vexatious, and full of authoritarianism, entrepreneurial to acquire their own remuneration and equitable treatment. To contextualize, this school is pure vanilla material: I do not recommend going to school because of the undisciplined and combative children, discourteous staff personnel, and abusive supervisory whining.Other Review1y ago - Check out schools near 2035 Plunkett St.

"It's going downhill fast. I like the general area very much but this side of US 1 isn't as safe. Some great, hardworking, friendly neighbors and some you avoid."

"So far I have living here for almost a year and I am planning to buy another condo for my daughter and her son here. Love my building and the management, always quiet, clean and fresh smelling, music in the entrance as welcoming us. I use to walk to Publix and Walgreen, it is nice to walk in this area, people friendly. I do my aerobic exercises around the Young Circle, just walking around it make feel I did a good work up. Also I joined the Cinema Paradise Theater and I use to go with my sister and friends, you can see future Oscar movies there and the ambience is cultural."
