8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageif your child is a perfectly healthy high achiever on a course for university, good for you, this school is what you are looking for. if your child is neurodiverse, has any mental health or chronic health issues run the other way. we are second generation Beavercreek Schools alumni who specifically moved back into the area so our kids could attend here. that was a mistake. we have four kids, our eldest graduated barely. our second oldest (neurodiverse, with some additional issues), was forced out during their senior year in spite of good grades, interestingly that kid points out they were asked to sign a document that indicated they "transferred out" rather than withdrawing from school entirely. (wonder if this is part of how the school has such high scores? if you force out kids that are struggling before the end of the year it sure looks like your graduation and drop out numbers are outstanding). our third child had much the same experience, good grades, well liked, was struggling with attendance due to anxiety and depression, forced to stop attending. (we were told that this kid had to have perfect attendance the rest of the school year or we would be in court due to truancy or we could remove our kid from the school system). there was no attempts in either of these cases to actively attempt to find work arounds or ieps or anything, just drop out or go to court. our fourth kid had an awful time at Main Elementary, and luckily the pandemic allowed us to move them into Connections Academy (online) otherwise I expect it would have been the same thing by high school. we have spoken with other parents of autistic or ADHD kids in the area and have Heard similar stories. incredibly disappointed.Parent Review4w ago - Jacob Coy Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter experiencing two Trebein school years (as a parent), I can say the teachers are wonderful. However, the interdepartmental communication is severely lacking; and organization itself does not seem up to par. I have found the front-line employees to be unprofessional and cold. Department heads seem to be unaware and at times irresponsible. Many in the area will sing high praises of the Beavercreek school district. Personally, after transferring in from one of the top schools in the entire state of Ohio- Trebein itself leaves much to be desired. Diversity is lacking; and the culture suffers because of it.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 2035 Pacer Trl.
