N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a concerned and involved parent, I have been deeply disappointed with the way this school has chosen to treat some of its parents. It has become increasingly clear that there is a clear bias towards certain parents, while the rest of us are treated with disdain and disrespect. Despite my efforts to engage with the school and ask essential questions, I have found that the staff are often unable or unwilling to provide me with the answers I seek. Recently, I attended a parent-teacher conference, hoping to discuss my child's progress and any concerns I had. However, what I experienced was nothing short of a complete letdown. The conference was rushed and chaotic, and I felt ignored and dismissed. Even though I arrived on time for my appointment, the staff skipped over me in favor of another parent who was running late. When it was finally my turn, I was rushed through my appointment and told that the conference's purpose was not to ask questions but simply to receive information. I left the conference feeling frustrated and angry. I had come to the school in good faith, hoping to engage in a productive conversation about my child's education, and instead, I was treated like an inconvenience. It is deeply concerning that the school seems to have no interest in engaging with parents or addressing their concerns. As a parent, I have a right to be heard and to receive answers to my questions, and I expect the school to honor that right.Parent Review7mo ago - Rochester Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery good school for respectful and hard-working kids, But due to laws and other things of the sort, Its almost impossible FOR them to enforce rules, which many of the kids, and evidently the kids parents, done care about and they cant really stop them, though they put in a good effortStudent Review5y ago - Rochester High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are some teachers who don't really follow on the "great 5 star scale", but most of them do. I am currently a Freshman, and I have already gotten so much help from all the teachers, my counselor, AND the principle. As of right now, I have a 4.0 GPA, and I am on the top 10 GPA's of the freshman class. In Middle School, I struggled to get a 3.5. The teachers do understand sometimes you need some rest, but it's really when you respect them. SO you get respect back. The majority of the curriculum is good. AP classes are great too, the teachers have a lot more depth into the certain subject. Communication is a good way to befriend the teachers for both of your guys' advantage. Both of my older siblings went to Rochester High School (and Middle School), even though it was hard for them (like the dated reviews on this school) it has definitely made a 180 turn. I have excelled in school all thanks to the people who work there.Student Review8y ago - Check out schools near 20122 Shamon Court SW.

"Most dog owners are responsible in my neighborhood. On occasion though people allow their dogs off leash which is frustrating."
- Trulia user

"Dog parks nearby. Have to buy dog tag nearly (basically a tax that the you pay the city every year, for owning each dog) which doesn’t apply if you live outside of city limits. A lot of people walk their dogs, and local shelter will post found pets on Facebook in case the owner follows them"

"Their dogs bark but they seem friendly. I wish their kids would stay out of my yard. Also, there's one lady that feeds a bunch of stray cats. Which I think is great but those strays come fight my outside cat for his food at night. I'd say that's pretty unique."

"I live in one of the less posh areas of town. Roads ridiculously pocked w huge potholes. City won't fix. Keep to ourselves mostly."

"Centralia is great. Sure there are some places you may not want to live but it is that way in any town. It's common to have deer walking around and birds chirping. This is a nice place."

"We have a local park and long with two separate parks for small dogs and large dogs. There at perfect locations and lots of room for my fur babies to run. One thing I would recommend is bring your own water. The park doesn’t have a close water source for the dogs. "

"My neighborhood is comprised of low cost apartments and a few single family homes. Lots of unfortunate homeless people frequently passing up and down our street. Not much crime in my neighborhood. People that are low income tend to not take advantage of each other. Everyone keeps to themselves There are no community parties, potlucks or bbqs in my area. It's a shame really! "
