"We live at a private development at a lake. Mostly all children go to school by bus. The county line runs through the development. There are three local schools. The Schuylkill county side attend Tamaqua schools. The Carbon county side attend Panther Valley schools, These two are public schools. Marian Catholic requires you to pay tuition."

"This town is loaded with dog owners. Very animal friendly area. You see people walking their dogs all the time. You may also come across a bear occasionally "

"This town is a great place to have a home in the northeast. Taxes are low. It's a small town with busy buddies which make it a safe place. There are a few 24-hours stores within walking distance. You can also walk to a pub, post office, banks, restaurants, grocery stores."
