2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a hidden gem. When we first moved to Asheville we were told to switch to Asheville City Schools. We then toured Woodfin Elementary, met the principal and changed our minds. That was 2 years ago and we could not be happier. The classroom sizes are smaller than what you find at a private school, the teachers and principal are dedicated, open-minded, innovative and talented. My children have very different personalities and learning styles, and they are both thriving. They recently opened up a STEM lab which my children love. "It’s a lovely place to live but people don’t want to see you or talk to you. We walk my son every evening and they ask us not to come near their yards. Not sure why they are like this, but we never bothered anyone’s property. "
